Emmanuel Ogundare

I'm currently a senior lecturer in Accounting & Finance and a deputy programme leader for M.Sc. in Accounting & Finance. I'm also the programme leader for RPL - M.Sc. Accounting & Finance. I started my career as a banker in my home country between 2005 and 2008 where I garnered strong work ethics and experience. I'm an ACCA member and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). I am a certified mentor recognised by Oxford Brookes and the Association of Certified Accountants (UK). I have mentored and currently mentoring students/affiliates/professionals across the word. The ACCA mentoring programme aims to connect people from across the ACCA family to share this expertise. Before dabbling into consultancy, I was a financial advisory manager at BIN MUBARAK CONSULTANCY & AUDITING, MUSCAT, OMAN. In my role I was an expert in advising organisations in the areas of cost management, investment decision, financing decision, equity vs debt decision, financial Modelling (3-statement model, forecasting model, discounted cash flow model, financial accounting (software), preparation of financial statements (IFRS) and financial analysis, Net worth Statements, computation and submission of Value Added Tax (VAT), dashboard performance presentation, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis, cost-volume-profit analysis, etc. While I was in Malaysia and Oman, I conducted several trainings including train-the-trainer’s workshops. I was involved in several corporate trainings including in government institutions such as Oman Ministry of Finance in Muscat.
