Cybersecurity Mentorship with Donavan Cheah
Donavan Cheah is a Singapore-based cybersecurity practitioner and mentor with ten years of experience spanning offensive security, threat modeling, security architecture, cyber risk and policy.
After studying Physics, he began his cybersecurity career in penetration testing and has since worked across both technical and organisational security roles. This breadth allows him to help mentees understand not only individual cybersecurity skills, but also how different career paths fit together.
Donavan has mentored aspiring and practising cybersecurity professionals on career transitions, professional development, certifications and conference submissions. Mentees he has worked with have gone on to secure cybersecurity roles and present at international cybersecurity conferences.He is a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at Thales, co-leads Threat Modeling Connect Singapore, contributes to research through Kinryū Labs and is a member of ISACA's Emerging Trends Working Group.
